Mia D’Acampo is 11 years old (20.03.2012), however already has a passion and love for the media industry.  She has featured in many school productions both in dance, musicals and theatrical performances. Mia is confident, kind, funny and a total joy, loving everything thrown at her.  She learns lines very quickly and, in our opinion, has a pure natural talent for acting.

Highlights Reel:

  • Won the ‘Monologue Slam’ Competition featured at the O2.

  • Lead role as Alice, in the up-and-coming production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at Pauline Quirk Academy.

Damiano Carrara was born on September 22, 1985, in Lucca, Tuscany. His father was a construction worker and his mother worked in postal and financial services. Damiano began his career in hospitality as a bartender, later moving to Ireland at 19, then briefly returning to Italy before settling in California in 2008.

In the U.S., after working as a restaurant manager, Damiano and Massimiliano opened Carrara Pastries in Moorpark, CA. The success of the first shop led to a second location in Agoura Hills, and later a third in Pasadena in 2020. Over time, the Moorpark shop expanded to include a full food menu. To maintain high standards, Damiano founded an import-export company to bring Italian products to the U.S., centralized production with a manufacturing facility, and grew his team to over 80 employees. He also became a U.S. citizen.

Damiano rose to fame in 2015 as a finalist on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship, and again in 2016 on Food Network Star. He later returned to the network as a judge on Halloween Baking Championship and Spring Baking Championship. In 2017, he began his television career in Italy, joining Bake Off Italia as a judge alongside Benedetta Parodi, Ernst Knam, and Clelia d'Onofrio on Real Time (Discovery). Since 2018, he co-hosts Cake Star with comedian Katia Follesa, and hosts Recipes of a Dreamer on Food Network. In 2020, he joined Bake Off Italia – All Stars Battle as a judge and began hosting Fuori Menu, followed by Tarabaralla in 2021.

Damiano has authored several books, including Dolce Italia and A Taste of Italy in the U.S., as well as In life everything is possible, his autobiography published by HarperCollins Italia. He later released Un po’ più dolce and Ancora più dolce, focusing on modern takes on traditional Italian desserts.

In October 2021, Damiano returned to his roots, opening Atelier Damiano Carrara in Lucca. The pastry shop showcases modern, elegant creations, many of which are gluten- and lactose-free, and uses advanced techniques to offer cakes, single portions, pralines, and chocolates in a refined setting.

Today, Damiano is both a celebrated pastry chef and a savvy entrepreneur, with deep knowledge of both the American and Italian markets. His understanding of customer needs and production processes, especially in chocolate and pastry, has distinguished him in the industry. With dual citizenship and a growing online presence (over 1.3M followers on Instagram, 830K on Facebook, and 305K on TikTok), Damiano continues to evolve, constantly pursuing new challenges and dreams with passion and precision.
